How to fix a broken thumbnail when posting on Facebook? Facebook Debugger
Ever tried to post a link and noticed that the thumbnail image is missing or maybe an old title? Introducing Facebook Debugger
(AKA “FB Debugger” or “Facebook Link Debugger”)
It may sound like something a web developer or coder would use, but it’s actually pretty simple to use for everybody.
So what you do is simply paste in the URL and then Facebook debugger will clear the cache at their side and give you an updated preview. Now you can repost your link back to Facebook and see the correct preview!
Plus it gives you a bunch of other errors so you can go and fix those too if needed.
You could technically edit the post, however if it gets re-shared and Facebook generates a new preview, then your initial bug will persist, so this will ensure it’s fixed at the root.
